We are seeking a highly-talented Manager of Sales Planning who will support Resonate’s sales teams’ efforts to generate revenue and manages support functions essential to sales force productivity.  The ideal candidate is someone who thrives amidst the challenges of a fast-paced, start-up environment and possesses anatural bent towards innovative thinking.  If you are an engaged team-player and like to break innovative new ground, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively supports, monitors and maintains high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s RFP efforts
  • Identifies and builds tools/resources/infrastructure such as FAQ’s, training programs, to optimize the sales process for the team
  • Works closely with product and marketing to ensure the appropriate product enhancements/collateral and needs are planned and released to stay competitive in the marketplace
  • Identifies opportunities for sales process improvement and facilitating an organization of continuous process improvement
  • Assists in the training of sales on new products, enhancements, and training new reps
  • Leads the team in understanding Resonate’s products and how to use them appropriately, demonstrating mastery of our proprietary platform
  • Assisting sales/management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
  • Implements, maintains and monitors sales organization’s compliance with Salesforce.com CRM tool and works to get needed changes in the development queue
  • Works cross-functionally across the organization to bring in subject matter experts at appropriate times
  • Manages a sales operations team that works remotely and supports a sales staff in multi-remote locations and time zones  
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and problem solving abilities

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years related experience in Sales Operations or Account Management focused on support of new/renewal sales
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Problem solver with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident engaging with all levels of management
  • xceptional communication skills, business orientated
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce.com, MS Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Capable skills in documentation of business requirements and user processes

Educational Requirements

  • BA
  • MBA preferred
