Taboola’s service is used by publishers to recirculate their own traffic by generating personalized on-site content recommendations. Taboola also enables publishers, brands and agencies to acquire high quality traffic and unique-users by recommending their content as third party content, which populates Taboola’s widgets throughout our network of Tier 1 publishers. Those publishers include NYTimes, BBC, TMZ., Bloomberg, BusinessWeek, Time.com, USAToday, The-Hollywood-Reporter, CafeMom, Politico.com, Billboard.com, Fox Television and many more.

We are looking for a strong deal-oriented professional who can identify, source and structure partnerships independently. The candidate should have experience working with digital teams of large publishers such as newspapers, magazines – and media companies in general; as well as previous experience selling to audience development and/or marketing teams at online publishers.

Responsibilities and skills:

  • Independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them and close deals.
  • Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Gain an understanding of digital technology and revenue ecosystem and be able to explain product benefits within this context.
  • Sell multiple products to clients by finding the right stakeholders for each product, without digressing from a coherent product message and overall strategy.
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
  • Work closely with the SVP of Publisher Sales and Client Services to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.


  • Proven communication, presentation, phone etiquette and general sales skills.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in structuring and negotiating deals with digital publishers or deals where an online component and revenue are central.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports.
  • Technology-savvy and able to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimization
  • The will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and learn, learn, learn!
