Job Description:

Connections Media LLC, is a digital agency with offices in New York and Washington, DC providing strategy, design, content, and customized technology services to high-profile public affairs and political advocacy clients. We are looking for an Office Manager, to oversee our DC office. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, ultra-positive, energetic, highly detail oriented and resourceful.

You’ll be the engine that keeps Connections Media running smoothly, and the go-to person for any number of projects and problems. You will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure that each Connections Media employee has the tools and the environment to do their best work.

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a busy office or similar working environment preferred
  • Self-sufficient, independent working style
  • Organizational skills — no crack is too small and nothing slips through
  • A sense of humor and aren’t afraid to let your personality shine
  • You take pride in making things happen quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, work on multiple projects, and continually prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage all facilities and relationships with Connections Media’s vendors
  • Be the champion of Connections Media’s office and culture—not only are you excited to come to work everyday, it is your duty to make sure the rest of the team is, too
  • Serve as the receptionist for all Connections Media guests— manage guest check-in process and make sure every visitor feels at home during their time here
  • Own the front desk—ensure that all deliveries and mail are organized and run effortlessly
  • Partner with the HR Manager on everything relating to the team internally
  • Support employee recruitment and onboarding, perks, and team events
  • Roll up your sleeves and dive into whatever else comes up!
