Job Description:

StrategyEye (www.strategyeye.com) develops and runs the EditorEye Content Curation platform (www.editoreye.com), which makes it easy to publish streams of content on specific topics. We aggregate high volumes of global content, analyse it by topic, and provide workflow for efficient content curation.

We're an entrepreneurial, fast moving company and look for highly motivated, innovating people who will thrive in our collaborative team culture.

We are currently looking for an articulate and ambitious PHP developer with 1-2 years of relevant experience developing commercial Web applications using object-oriented techniques. The successful candidate will have had good exposure to OO programming within PHP5.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, and be able to work autonomously to job specifications as well as within the team. They will be joining a small development team so must be comfortable working with a disparate range of technologies and a self-starter when it comes to devising solutions.

The majority of development is within the LAMP stack, extending existing applications and new development work, and the key areas of development are using Symfony2, Zend Framework and XSL, with jQuery for the majority of browser-side logic.

Advanced knowledge of PHP5, SQL, (X)HTML, Javascript and CSS are essential, and we’ll look more favourably at candidates with experience of some or all of the following:

-  Symfony2

-  XSL

-  Zend Framework (preferred) or other MVC frameworks

-  jQuery

-  Drupal modules/Wordpress plugins

We are looking to hire immediately though will consider candidates with up to 1 month’s notice period.

Salary £23-28k depending on experience.

StrategyEye is located in central London, within a couple of minutes of Charing Cross station.

Please send your CV and covering letter to applications@strategyeye.com – no agencies please!
