Job Description:

This role is part of the Display Platform Group, which is responsible for global product strategy, technical execution and management across our display advertising business.

The Right Media Deployment Manager will play a key role in our Right Media Deployment and Account Management team. The deployment and account management team operates the full Right Media ecosystem by providing high end technical account management services to our partners on the exchange. The Deployment Manager will focus on maximizing partner yield by providing ongoing best practices and education on exchange usage. Deployment Managers work closely with the Business Development, Account Management, and Marketplace Solutions teams to develop services and technology to meet partners’ needs in a growing and changing marketplace.

The primary responsibilities of the Deployment Manager role will include:

• Project-manage and lead new partner deployments for all exchange client types (advertiser, agency, data provider, intermediary technology, network and publisher) from kick-off through the entire project lifecycle
• Identify partner business and technical requirements and determine and deliver partner specific set up recommendations
• Provide strategic and tactical guidance to clients: become the trusted partner of choice for every account
• Delivering white-glove client services to premier and high profile clients
• Understanding both demand and supply focused business models for display advertising, and consistently demonstrate the ability to identify and deliver Right Media solutions to facilitate strategic partnership growth
• Find innovative ways to hit aggressive revenue targets on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Develop hands-on management of client business processes including, but not limited to, ad exchange operations, analytics, pricing & yield management, and creative management
• Building professional relationships with key executive stakeholders within client accounts
• Develop in-depth account plans for each of your accounts (based on target goals and KPIs), and regularly meet with clients to ensure success against plan
• Building coordinated efforts with internal Right Media and Yahoo! teams to drive additional revenue for clients
• Identify growth opportunities and up-selling potential within existing client base
• Supporting the close of new business opportunities by providing set up options and recommendations as required during the pre-sales cycle
• Be an industry thought-leader: participate in industry events, blog regularly, collaborate with team members to communicate our vision

Minimum qualifications:
• 5+ years work experience in online media/ advertising, ad exchanges, demand side platform, or online publishing
• Demonstrated project and program management skills
• Excellent customer relationship skills (Client facing, ability to assess client needs and interact with all levels of management – Mid level to CEO)
• Intermediate level understanding of the online media ecosystem: Publishers, Ad exchanges, Ad networks, Supply Side Platforms
• Previous experience with creative trafficking, campaign management, yield management and ad serving preferred
• Previous use of Right Media Yield Manager strongly preferred!
• Willingness to travel (10-25%)
