Job Description:
The primary purpose of the Data Steward is to timely process item related requests, including item creation, enhanced data maintenance and enforcing standardization of item creation.  The Data Steward will be for responsible for ensuring data integrity within a designated business area, validating the data that is properly created in MDM PIM and providing end user training for new team members.  Data validation includes verifying all MDM standards are followed including required documentation prior to the acceptance of data in the MDM environment.


Item creation governance and execution in accordance with forth set standards and policies.

Enhanced data maintenance to ensure all required product attributes are populated in MDM in a timely manner.

Collaborate with our 3rd party catalog providers and suppliers with the goal of complete, accurate, relevant product data is populated in MDM.

Ongoing data quality monitoring and maintenance of product attributes to ensure common understanding and usage across the organization.

Analyze product data supplied by vendors and facilitate issue resolution.

Facilitate product and location attribute governance by gaining and maintaining expertise across multiple business areas.

Associate’s Degree- Information Technology and related or equivalent on the job experience

1-3 Years of experience with Data Management in Retail
