Job Description:


The Ad Operations and Programmatic Technology Manager is responsible for the day to day flow of data as it relates to Designed as well as Programmatic media buys. This role is instrumental in ensuring data accuracy for the purposes of optimization, reporting, and analysis. 


  • Execute Connelly Partners’ internal programmatic trading capabilities
  • Setup and support the data strategy and trafficking efforts of the Agency
  • Cultivate a working knowledge of ad servers and programmatic buying platforms
  • Support the evaluation of new adtech platforms
  • Develop the proper data strategy and structure of campaign planning, working with teams from inception through conclusion
  • Establish and enforce QA processes across ad ops implementation and programmatic media buys
  • Maintain and update process documentation
  • Resolve any data or campaign setup inaccuracies
  • Develop and enact  a long term strategic vision for the department
  • Become “the” person for all Ad Ops executions across the agency
  • Mentor team members within the department, and provide subject matter expertise to colleagues across the agency


Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required – Business, MIS, Economics, Mathematics ideal
  • 3 – 5 years’ agency experience, DSP, DMP, or operations side of a direct publisher
  • Expert experience in Ad Servers – DCM required, Sizmek or others a plus
  • Expert experience in DSPs – DBM, MediaMath, or DataXu preferred; others a plus
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Passion for problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus points:

  • Knowledge of Google Data Studio, Datorama, DOMO, Tableau, or others a plus
  • Knowledge of Social and/or PPC Search a plus
  • General knowledge of database concepts and thought processes a plus
