I am currently Director of Business Development at AT&T Interactive, the division of AT&T representing the product development, marketing, and business development efforts for Yellowpages.com (and several other owned and operated properties and advertising products). In this role, I identify, pitch, negotiate contracts and manage technical integrations with large online advertising clients interested in our advertising products. I also work closely with product managers and engineers to fulfill the emerging needs of digital advertising clients. I am accustomed to successfully juggling several projects at once, and have an excellent track record of building new business, involving everything from initial prospecting through detailed integrations. From the startup company, Ingenio, through the acquisition by AT&T Interactive, I have been promoted three times in the past five years and have single-handedly built two $2-3M businesses from our existing systems, all while achieving zero partner attrition. I believe a major contributor to this success is my ability to communicate as a strategic business partner: someone clients trust and look to as a resident expert on how our products and services can improve their business. While I work equally well in team-oriented and self-directed environments, I find my preferred “sales” approach is through collaboration with our in-house designers, product managers and software engineers to build our partners something useful and easy for them to use.
