I am highly experienced with Java/J2EE and C++ software development management including process/user flows, requirements documents, functional specs and with project management tools used in software development including UML, various software revision control and bug tracking systems. Support trials and deployed product in Europe and North America. Represent company at Open Mobile Alliance standards organization. Projects have included:
• Advertising Service (Pay per view, pay per click, pay per call) and Directory query developed with SAAS goals using profiles and templates to particularize to customer requirements..
• Managed J2EE/Grails/Hibernate/Spring Development Teams in US, Canada, and India using iterative/SCRUM/Agile methods.
• Developed Active Mobile Object technology using WURFL/WALL, XSLT, XML, HTML, XHTML, WML containing structured data that can be delivered to over 1,500 mobile device model
• Managed very saleable, high transaction volume web and telephony applications.
• Managed UI projects using J2EE/Javascript//AJAX/Grails/Swing/OpenLaszlo.
• Mobile phone firmware development including native code implementation of JVMs and Open Mobile Alliance compliant device management firmware.
I have managed off shore development teams in India, Canada, and the UK, as well as QA teams, technical publications and of course R&D applications development teams. I have an in depth understanding of mobile and web applications and protocols; I have dealt with streaming voice, and developed a media server to be used in conjunction with in house developed as well as OEM’s ad servers.
I was the primary inventor of six patents that helped seal the purchase of AtMotion by Phone.com for $280M in February, 2000. I am experienced working with investors/VCs, customers, and patent attorneys.
