Responsilbilities: • provide technical training and advice on hazard resistant housing construction to building contractors, masons, steel-fixers and carpenters. / • provide technical orientation, advice and support to house owners, community representatives and other interested parties. / • provide technical support to building materials producers and suppliers and others involved in ensuring quality construction. / • monitor construction progress and give on site advice. / • supervise the construction of model houses and other demonstration works. / • assist in other initiatives promoting earthquake resistant techniques and practices, as determined by the un-habitat team. / • carry out building inspection of in-progress and completed houses as part of erra assistance and inspection teams. / • prepare written advice for house owners on required measures to reach completion and compliance as part of erra assistance and inspection teams. / • prepare all required inspection documentation and reports for un-habitat as part of erra assistance and inspection teams. / .
