Responsilbilities: O national coordinator for the largest community-based initiative in thw world i.e. national program for family planning & primary healthcare (lhws program) / o national team leader responsible for formulating national policies & strategic guidelines for the “national program for family planning & primary healthcare” i.e. lhws program. / o coordinate the development of national and provincial plans, including budgets, for national program for fp & phc (lhws program) in the country. / o national project director: moh-unfpa project under unfpa 7th country program. / o national project director for the asian development-moh funded reproductive health project. / o coordinate the development and updating of technical and operational guidelines and materials (including training curriculum/communication and monitoring stuff) for national program for family planning & primary healthcare i.e. lhws program. / o focal point for integration between health and population welfare ministries on population & reproductive health issues. / o national focal point for development & implementation of who (jprm) funded projects / • basic development needs-a multi-sector interventions e.g. healthcare, agriculture, income generation etc, / • primary healthcare integration, / • integrated management of neonatal & child illness (imnci). / o coordinate & supervise the countrywide implementation of multiple donor assisted phc interventions e.g. maternal, neonatal & child health (dfid, usaid (jsi-paiman), & unicef). / o coordinate the design and conduct of internal as well as external reviews/evaluations of the programs and projects related with community outreach and social mobilization activities. . / o prepare and disseminate technical and program reports/ documents, as well as project proposals for public and donor funding (e.g. who, unfpa, unicef, dfid, usaid, mi, adb) for multi-partner interventions. / o represent the ministry of health at various national and international foru.
