Responsilbilities: •to support the senior management (gm1, gm2 & head’s of) business financial services in the development, implementation and communication of effective risk policies and procedures / •designing, generating and producing tailor-made reports for senior management to control, audit, compliance and ongoing projects using cognos, brad, mis, rb and other systems / software’s / •identify and manage risk and compliance requirements for nll, prr, basel ii and fsr / •provide subject matter expertise throughout life of specific projects understanding business drivers for justification of work / •provides analysis, research and detailed operational risk management strategy reports in accordance with the bank\' s risk management framework that will maximise the risk reward trade off in the business portfolio, identify and implement risk management opportunities, revenue enhancement, asset quality, cost management and capital utilisation / •deliver the portfolio of operational risk management projects and initiatives undertaken in the division against agreed time frames ensuring that business objectives are met. / •consistent application of compliance and risk policies and practices throughout bfs / •liaison with internal and external stakeholders to clarify and gain in depth understanding of the proposal and any inherent risks. / •continued development of policies to support bfs strategy / •development and maintenance of standards and procedures for risk management that supports bfs strategy / •prepare submissions/ reports/ reviews identifying the critical risk issues and evaluating the integrity of the information provided including accurate assessment of risk grades and sqi’s / •develop and implement bfs risk reporting to measure balance scorecard objectives for financial, operational, staff and customer metrics / •recommend risk management strategy in a constructive manner. where possible suggest what is required to maximise risk/ reward / •initiate qual.
