QinetiQ North America, Inc. is looking for a Systems Engineer, Principal in Arlington, VA.

Provide expertise and direction in the development or modification of complex software programs to enhance an operating system. Provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware and software operating systems for the organization's products. Responsible for the instruction, assigning, and overseeing the performance of less experienced software systems engineers. Coordinate the activities of the software engineering department with other sections of the corporation's information systems operation. Utilize SPARQL, C++, SQL, cloud computing framework, Microsoft Infrastructure, Semantic Web, XML, TCP/IP Framework, Dashboard Concepts and Analytics, and IT Collaboration.

Requirements:

An MBA or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Enterprise Architecture plus 5 years of experience in a network engineering, system engineering, semantic web or cloud computing occupation, or a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Enterprise Architecture plus 7 years of progressively responsible experience in a network engineering, system engineering, semantic web or cloud computing occupation. The required experience must have included experience with SPARQL, C++, SQL, Cloud computing framework, Microsoft Infrastructure, Semantic Web, XML, TCP/IP Framework, Dashboard Concepts and Analytics, and IT Collaboration. CCNP, CCVP and VCP certifications are also required.
