Position: Senior Software Engineer

Preferred Background and Attributes:

• 5+ years experience with critical enterprise system development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Science preferred
• PhD. in Computer Engineering/Science welcomed
• Preference for entrepreneurial experience
• History of building high quality products
• Priorities include building a durable, reputable business

Preferred skills:

• Programming in C/C++
• Object-oriented software design and development
• Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
• Real-time and embedded software development
• Multi-threaded programming
• Multi-core and multi-processor systems
• JavaScript and HTML5
• System performance and scale optimization
• Data modeling and defining ontologies such as RDF/OWL
• Data mining and machine learning techniques
• Knowledge of compilers
• Cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of Hadoop integration
• Knowledge of efficient algorithms
