Position Overview

As a founding member of our Sales team, we’ll rely on you to build business with leading media companies and advertisers in the greater Chicago Area. This is a unique opportunity for a smart and entrepreneurial mobile ad sales executive generator to have a major impact in an emerging technology. You should feel comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, be excited about inspiring advertisers and selling original opportunities to them, and be passionate about the mobile ad space.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pitch, and close Mobile ad sales deals with advertisers
  • Prepare pitch materials and present to executive levels of organizations
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to closure
  • Manage pipeline with CRM tools
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and report to management in a timely and consistent manner
  • Share customer feedback and insights with internal partners

Desired Skills & Experience

Professional qualifications

  • 5-7 years of media sales experience specializing in digital mobile media
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and close complex and original ad deals
  • Track record creating entrepreneurial sales strategies
  • Strong English language communication skills, written and verbal required 
  • Ability to manage cross-department relationships
  • Experience working with technology and digital media products

Skills Required

  • Strong PowerPoint presentation and Google application skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, or equivalent preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Drive and demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in quickly shifting priorities and learning new skills
  • Motivated and ability to work independently
