Prism Skylabs is a hi-tech start up in San Francisco that transforms security cameras into powerful new tools for Marketing, Operations, Management, and Security. We’re looking for an ambitious sales professional to join the growing sales team. This position is an opportunity to impact the bottom line, while facilitating the development and implementation of the strategic sales process of the company.

The inside/outside sales representative will work cooperatively with the sales team to: process and close inbound sales leads; actively generate, process, and pursue new leads; and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.

Job responsibilities:

  • Own, review, research, prioritize and process inbound potential customer leads and opportunities
  • Own and pursue new, (inter)national potential customers
  • Identify, sample and test third-party potential customer lists to boost acquisition in a cost effective manner
  • Own and continuously update the sales pipeline and organize sales information for weekly executive meetings
  • Research, identify and craft pitch decks and solutions for new customer segments, including finding appropriate trade shows and publications; conduct initial industry research to tailor sales pitches to identified industry niches
  • Meet or surpass quota.
  • Educate potential customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the distribution team
  • Provide feedback to the product team re customer  feature requests
  • Some travel

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of proven startup sales tech work experience with a track record of successful selling, specifically in B2B sales
  • Curious, technical, fast-learner who is able to communicate in both written and oral forms effectively; persuasive and passionate about Prism technology
  • Proficient in creating beautiful sales materials to aid in selling process
  • Attention to detail
  • Hungry and active sales approach
  • Customer-centric and able to ask about, listen to and meet customer needs.
