The SQL Data Architect will oversee design, analysis, and documentation of business data and processes required for system implementation. S/he will consult with Learning Ally management and clients to provide technical assistance on business process analysis, documentation and required logical system and data design. Also works with areas of IT to set data standardization strategies for data integration across business units, and develop a data transformation strategy (sources, extraction and conversion) for internal initiatives. Researches, designs and writes software to specifications, either individually or leading a team of other developers.
Education: Bachelors or equivalent degree of certifications. Experience: 5+ years of industry experience with 2 to 3 years of project management. Skills/Knowledge: 5+ years experience with SQL Server or any other RDBMS; 3+ years experience in .NET or ASP.NET, or 5+ yrs enterprise development experience; Solid working knowledge and experience with NetSuite and related tools; strong knowledge of Erwin or equivalent toolset; 4+ years expereince in user interface development; Broad knowledge of business analysis procedures and IT project management; Ability to do logical system design and manage pysical system creation and maintenance per business requirements is required.
