Unite is a fast growing advertising technology company that helps advertisers and ad agencies to buy and manage online advertising more efficiently.
We are hiring a programmatic media buyer to work on our real time buying platform to plan and execute buys on behalf of agencies and advertisers. The right candidate will have a solid base of experience with programmatic display and video buying. We are looking for a tester and stats whiz, that is constantly learning new software, refining optimization techniques and digging into campaign data to improve performance. Preference will be given to buyers that have worked on a CPA basis.
Key Day to Day Responsibilities:
-Become an expert in the real time bidding platform and its usage for clients.
-Develop media plans and setup campaigns for clients, interfacing with the sales team to ensure that campaigns exceed clients expectations.
-Design and implement tests to improve campaign performance
-Implement appropriate controls to ensure campaigns stay on target with regards to performance goals and budgets
-Audit creative in static image, flash and video ad formats, communicating with creative agencies and advertisers on acceptable formatting and creative standards.
-Prepare post buy reports for advertisers as needed.
-Communicate with other members of the Programmatic media buying team to improve processes and campaign performance.
-Assist with creating training materials for other members of the buying team as well as sales staff.
-Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university
-Advanced excel skills, excellent background in mathematics and statistics
-1-2 years of online ad operations experience required including experience trafficking CPM, CPA and CPC display campaigns using RTB.
-Expertise in RTB working with DSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers and creative formats.
-Effective time and project management skills
