We are looking for full-time Software Engineers with at least 5 years of web development experience. We are executing an ambitious roadmap of exciting product developments, and are seeking people with entrepreneurial enthusiasm, a creative mind, and a desire to build something innovative. You will use technology to bring discovery to the shopping experience online. You will be responsible for design, development and testing in Java.
We are a small startup team and we work very collaboratively. We follow agile development practices and believe in frequent releases and iterations. Our office space is a beautiful loft on Bond St in Noho.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of agile web development experience
- Experience managing a small team
- Significant experience in Java
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and J2EE
- Extensive object-oriented experience
- Must have ecommerce experience
- Database design and optimization with MySQL
- CSS, Javascript, HTML
- Unit testing
- Good communication skills
- Track record of delivering high quality software on time
