Job Description:

Position Overview

We are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit who has a passion for digital media. This person must get excited about digging into data and enjoy testing optimization strategies to drive performance.  Experience with digital buying and optimization is a must. Ability to multi-task and get things done is essential. This position is fast paced and requires a strong handle on technology, the ability to keep up with a fluid industry and a hunger for solving problems with data.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage all aspects of online media campaigns across display, mobile and video
  • Analyze program performance and recommend optimization strategies for increased performance through adjusting bidding, frequency, sites, etc
  • Troubleshoot issues on all pre-production and live campaigns
  • Provide clients with regular updates on campaign performance as their campaign runs, staying on top of status with the buying team and setting up and managing any requested reporting
  • Develop and execute regular test & learn plans to increase program efficiencies
  • Generate full analysis for each campaign on a regular basis to determine bidding recommendations for increased performance
  • Learn and develop mastery of all elements of digital media campaign management (display, video & mobile), including the optimization tactics of and the tools used to implement them

 

Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience media buying & optimization (display OR search)
  • Knowledge of 3rd party tracking and serving technology related to media buying (DART, Invite, Brightroll, etc.)
  • Proven ability to synthesize data/results, identify trends/key findings and present innovative ideas
  • Demonstrated best practice in optimization techniques
  • Ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in math, marketing, finance and/or economics
  • 1 year experience in account management preferred
  • Strong analytical and implementation skills
  • High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and Access
  • Basic understanding of statistics
  • Internet experience preferred
  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity
