GENERAL
Postmates is rapidly expanding into new markets and we’re looking for an experienced City General Manager with 5+ years experience in operations, management or marketing, who is responsible for the development, growth and success of our products in one of the major cities. The City General Manager is a hands on job that is ultimately responsible for the success of Postmates in a market and as such, individuals must have a proven track record and exceptional management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with our launch team to launch Postmates in your city
- Manage our supply chain (courier onboarding)
- Develop, execute and measure our local marketing strategies and user growth
- Run deep analytics for product growth
- Expansion & planning recruiting with local partners
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of operational management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proven track record in scaling products
- Focus on analytics and program results
- Solution-based selling skills
- Development and expansion of a customer base and ability to generate repeat business
- Deliver results on time-sensitive projects
- Strategic and analytical thinker who has shown the ability to scale operations
- Pro-actively develop plans to address new challenges and opportunities
- You should be comfortable working in a startup environment and participating in individual and group critiques.
