DataStax is looking for an engineer to help take Cassandra to the next level. At DataStax you will work closely with Apache Cassandra project chair Jonathan Ellis and many committers both at DataStax and in the broader community from all over the world. THIS ENGINEER CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE
Design, implement, and review features and enhancements to Cassandra
Troubleshoot bug reports from internal QA, from customers, and from the Apache community
Analyze performance to identify bottlenecks
Eventually achieve committer status on Apache Cassandra
Introduce the Cassandra family of technologies to the world through blog posts and conference presentations
