Early stage start-up is looking for a rockstar CTO to manage the application’s architecture and drive forward the development of the platform. You will join the company as employee #3 and initially roll-up your sleeves and code but as the company grows, you will recruit and manage a team of developers. The CTO position is the perfect opportunity for someone with the right skills to get in at ground level and help build something totally brilliant.
Your rockstar skills include:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

3+ years experience with Flash programming in ActionScript2

Strong Object Oriented Programming (OOP) background and software management principles

Strong user experience design and game design

API Architecting

Excellent communication skills; oral and written

Playbank is dedicated to delivering education to kids through virtual world gaming. Um what? Ok it’s like Club Penguin (which btw sold to Disney for $700M+… not too shabby) with a twist. Get it?
About us:
Well for starters I’m a female entrepreneur that helped start-up an MIT software spinout in Boston (USA) before setting up the company’s UK operations in 2004. After our successful acquisition to a global software company in 2006, I got bored working for a big company so did an MBA (don’t hold it against me) at Oxford University. However, I’ve had my fair share of staring at code as a computer science undergrad back in the ‘90s. Me and my rockstar graphics illustrator have done all the legwork in planning out, establishing the market, outlining the biz strategy and all that other MBA shizzle to make this a solid opportunity. All we need now is another rockstar to join us and make our awesome storyboards come to life.
