Advertising Operations Technical Lead

Pandora Media is looking for a Technical Lead for the Ad Operations Team who will support our Performance group.   The right individual will provide day-to-day support to the Trafficking, Design, and Performance/Network teams.  The Technical Lead will assist in all phases of ad product and creative development:  Planning, integrating, testing, documentation, implementation, and delivery.   
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Work with Performance project managers, Trafficking, and Design departments to test and implement custom creative.
• Participate in technical planning process for onboarding new ad networks and new ad products; provide documentation on implementation for Trafficking department.
• Identify and report bugs across all Pandora platforms (web, mobile, and consumer devices).  Monitor and communicate bug status to Trafficking and Performance teams.
• Troubleshoot delivery and technical issues to ensure revenue recognition.
• Assist Traffickers in solving problems related to targeting, creative implementation, and third-party tracking.
• Assist in vetting, testing and troubleshooting third-party ad products.  Ensure that vendor products work correctly across all platforms.
• Communicate technical issues (both verbal and written) in a manner that is easy for a non-technical audience to understand.
• Implement difficult and technically challenging advertising campaigns for key accounts.
• Manage and maintain excellent relationships with outside vendors.

Requirements:
 

• 3+ years of experience in online advertising.
• Extensive working knowledge of advertising sales and operations workflow and infrastructure.
• Experience with mobile and CE advertising is preferred.
• Expertise with DoubleClick’s DFP required.
• Familiarity with various Ad Networks, such as AdMarvel, iAds, YuMe required.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML. Strong JavaScript skills will be highly regarded.
• Exceptional relationship management and communication skills.
• Strong experience working in Excel and Internet technologies required.
• Comfort and experience with a fast paced start-up environment.
• Ability to work both independently or as part of a team.
