Description:

The Account Manager, Social Activation will work with VivaKi agency brands to facilitate the delivery of all key elements of social media programs.

 

Responsibilities:

Account/Relationship Management

·         Assumes accountability and ownership of social program successes and failures for several agency client accounts

·         Provides excellent communication via phone, emails and direct contact

·         Provides thought leadership to clients in social and online marketing

·         Keeps management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business

 

Project Management

·         Assists Team Lead/Project Manager in managing the daily work flow of all agency client social media programs, including initiation and management of projects across functional departments

·         Reviews agency deliverables for quality and ensures that recommendations and work product are sound and viable

·         Executes social account strategies and plans based on directive from agency account teams

·         Monitors the status of tasks as they move in and out of functional departments

·         Monitors resource capacity and workload of labor pool within each functional group

·         Tracks and reports on time spent on individual projects and tasks

·         Interfaces with department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solutions for clients

·         Meets specified deadlines

 

Team Leadership & Development

·         Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity

·         Adopts stated client management standards and project management best practices

 

Process Improvement

·         Assists in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelors degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred

·         Minimum of 1-3 years as associate account manager or equivalent if internal candidate

·         Minimum 1-3 years of experience in paid social marketing, if external candidate

·         Social media marketing experience

·         High competency level with DartSocial preferred

·         Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills

·         Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication and presentation skills

·         High competency level in MS Office MS CRM with specific strengths in Excel

·         Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks

·         Must be able to work in fast paced, dynamic environment and have ability to adapt to change
