Account Director, Interactive

 

I-Behavior Inc., a WPP company and part of KBM Group, is a fast-paced and high growth marketing services company that helps brands reach the right consumers across all channels.  I-Behavior has been in business since 1999 and serves over 2,500 clients world-wide. I-Behavior has offices in Colorado, New York, and London and has a great opportunity for an Account Director in our interactive division based in either our Louisville, CO or New York City offices.  (www.i-behavior.com

 

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

As an Account Director, you will have both account management responsibilities for existing clients and business development responsibilities for developing a rich and well-qualified pipeline of potential new clients.  As a senior member of the Interactive team, you will not only be the primary point of contact for your clients, but you will also be depended upon to provide strategic insight, thought leadership and innovation in our clients business. 

Through consultative selling you will create comprehensive, compelling, and effective proposals which successfully pair I-Behavior’s leading digital solutions with your client’s unique needs.  The digital solutions you will be focused on selling will primarily include custom and standard Addressable Audiences and secondarily our Zipline DMP (Data Management Platform).  Your primary clients and prospects will include brand advertisers, digital ad agencies, ad networks, and demand side platforms.  This role reports to the VP of Sales and works closely with our operations and technology teams.

In this key role, as an Account Director, you will also be called upon to providing valuable insight, ideas and inspirational leadership for the Interactive team.  You will also be given the opportunity to, mentor other employees, and help drive future product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed all sales and business development goals by ensuring clients purchase products and services that meet their needs and effectively following up
  • Maintain an accurate 90 day sales and pipeline report in CRM at all times
  • Identify, develop, and lead strategic sales efforts to large brand advertisers
  • Create comprehensive, compelling, and effective proposals
  • Speak at two industry events per year
  • Be expert on current in trends and developments in online advertising and related industries
  • Provide leadership and act as a liaison with other KBMG, Wunderman Network, and WPP companies
  • Must have a positive attitude, be assertive, and aspire to be the best
  • Help foster an energized, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Self directed travel as needed to achieve your goals (up to 40%)
  • Other duties as assigned by management

 Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • MBA or post-graduate degree a plus
  • 5+ years experience in business development, account management, or digital advertising sales in advertising or data related industries
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proven expertise in business development, account management, or digital advertising roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading sales teams or large client engagements a plus
  • Ability to take direction, manage tasks, and make good decisions with minimal supervision
  • Have excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Be flexible and resourceful
